What we collect
What you send, and what the site already loads
We do not run a store checkout on this site. Information reaches us in a few ordinary ways.
Contact form (Netlify Forms)
The form on the Contact page is named contact and is processed by Netlify. Fields are: name, work email, company / organization, interest (bulk biochar, insured carbon credits, both, technical / research data, or other / partnership), and message. A hidden honeypot field named bot-field is there to reduce spam — do not fill it in. Submissions go to the same sales inbox as email.
Email and phone
If you write sales@gawoodchar.com or call +1-706-534-9895, we keep what you send so we can answer. The podcast guest form on this site opens your email client; it does not post through the website.
Analytics already on the pages
These scripts are in the HTML of the public marketing pages (and this page). We are listing what is actually present — not a generic tracker list.

Those tools typically see page views, device and browser details, approximate location, and how people move through the site. Clarity can record session playback. We do not add advertising pixels or extra marketing tags beyond what is in the page source. Fonts load from Fontshare and Google Fonts; that is a file request, not a separate analytics product we configured.
How we use it
Sales, quotes, and keeping the site useful
We use contact details and messages to reply to commercial requests — bulk biochar, insured carbon credits, technical data, or partnerships. We use analytics to see which pages are used and whether the site is working. We do not use this website to build a consumer mailing list or to sell a list of visitors.
Sharing
Who else sees it
Netlify hosts the site and processes the contact form. Google, Microsoft, and RevRocket receive data because their scripts are on the pages listed above. We do not sell personal information. We may share what you sent if the law requires it, or with a logistics or credit partner when that is needed to fulfill a request you asked us to handle.
Links to Insured Carbon Registry, Biochar Now, ISCC, and similar sites leave gawoodchar.com. Their practices are their own.
Retention and security
How long we keep it, and ordinary safeguards
Form submissions and sales email stay as long as we need them to handle the inquiry and keep ordinary business records. Analytics retention follows those products’ settings. The site is served over HTTPS on Netlify. No transmission or inbox is perfectly secure; treat email and the form as you would any business correspondence.

How to reach us
If you want us to delete or correct something you submitted, or you have a question about this notice, write sales@gawoodchar.com or call +1-706-534-9895. We will work with the request in the normal course of business.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser. Google and Microsoft publish their own opt-out and advertising-preference tools for Analytics and Clarity. Using those controls may limit how useful the site is for us to debug, not whether you can read the pages.

When this notice changes
Effective September 2026. If we add a form, a payment flow, or a new script, we will update this page. The effective date at the top is the date to check.
